Can I Get a Woot?

Because I am a total nerd, I am totally excited about my Dungeons & Dragons: The Complete Animated Series DVD set that came in last week.

I loved this series as a kid, and have been on the lookout for them to put it on DVD for years now. When I saw they finally had, I ordered it on the spot. I can't wait to sit down and watch it, and feel like a kid all over again.

Not only that, I also received The Golden Girls: The Complete Third Season a few days later. I am, no lie, a Golden Girls fanatic. I absolutely love that show. When it used to show on the Lifetime channel in the late afternoons, I would come home from work and do nothing else but watch episode after episode. My day just wasn't complete until I'd spent some time with Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia.

I have been wanting to start getting all of the seasons on DVD, so when Amber got me Season One for Christmas there was no going back. After watching the entire DVD set, I order the next one - eventually I'll have all seven. I'm such a huge fan I even ordered The Golden Girls: A Lifetime Intimate Portrait Series and am waiting with bated breath for it to come in. When Lifetime originally aired the Intimate Portraits (a different actress/Golden Girl every night) I had tried to catch them but had only been able to watch Rue McClanahan's (who played Blanche for all you non-GG people out there). Now I can chill on my couch with a huge bowl of butterless popcorn, a Symphony chocolate bar, and a Red Bull and watch all about four of my favorite actresses with the beauty of commercial-free, non-interrupted viewing.

And, before I'm done boring you to tears, I just have to share the insane purchase I made just today.

Years and years ago, my siblings and I watched a B-movie "horror" flick on TNT with our mother. It was worse than awful - it was bad it was freaking hilarious. My sister, mother, and I were killing ourselves laughing through the entire thing. My brother must have been around seven or eight and - to this very day - we still tease him about being afraid to let Mom kiss him goodnight after we'd just watched Flesh Eating Mothers. It's hard to believe anyone - even my gullible, dumb little brother who used to be afraid of the toilet - could be literally scared after watching Flesh Eating Mothers.  Yet, he was; so scared that he literally flinched and pulled away when Mom leaned down to tuck him in and kiss his cheek (eliciting falling-off-the-bed laughter by my sister and I).

Now, almost twenty years later, I have found - and purchased - a copy of Flesh Eating Mothers and plan to have a Family Movie Night where we can all laugh and reminiscence - and unmercifully and viciously tease my little brother.

Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I'm getting fed up of WordPress because I've had issues with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Things i have seen in terms of personal computer memory is there are specifications such as SDRAM, DDR and so on, that must fit in with the specs of the mother board. If the computer's motherboard is rather current and there are no os issues, improving the memory space literally takes under 1 hour. It's one of many easiest laptop or computer upgrade types of procedures one can consider. Thanks for spreading your ideas.
